Marija Sekulic’s Curriculum Vitae

Marija Sekulic: born April 12th, Serbian and International model.

Marija started with the modeling and did her first fashion show as a teenager, at the age of ten. Thanks to her mother she did her first modeling course. As a child she took part in many commercials, fashion shows and campaigns for many domestic and one Greek designer. At the age of 12, she ran a TV fashion show for children and teenagers called the Manager Club. Two years later, aged 14, she completed an Ellite Model Look School.

She continued with developing her fashion career in 2003 having become the face of Serbian mobile network company 063 Mobtel and having several shootings for 063 mobile network and soon after for Telekom 064, another mobile network, appearing in the TV commercial. During that year she started with her first fashion editorials. One of the first more significant shootings included the shooting for Speedo swimming costumes. In December 2004, she signed an agreement with Fox Fashion Agency. At first she traveled on business to Paris and later on to Munich, Hamburg, Barcelona, Dusseldorf and Istanbul as well.

Marija appeared on the covers and editorials of international fashion magazines such as Cosmopolitan, FHM, Maxim, Joy, Sofia, Glorija, Jolie and Mobkom. She appeared in many TV commercials as well for different brands including Damiani, Coco sun, Soko stark, Imlek, Moka kafa, Grand caffe, Danone for Italian market, Jelen pivo and Telekom.

On many occasions she has been chosen as the face of billboard campaigns for Don Café, 063 Mobtel Vivo and GPRS, Safran, Mopex, Eurosalon, Legend, Exit and Department Stores Beograd. She appeared in many fashion editorials for famous brands. Marija also showed up in the promotional commercial for perfume Givenchy marriage. In 2005 she appeared in the Top Models Calendar. In June 2006 Marija was on the covers of the fashion magazine Jolie. She took part in several music releases such as Nono bjela (Zdravko Colic), Nikome ni rec (Dzenan), Ljubav (Flamingosi), Titanik (Osman Hadzic), Ministry of Saints (Edguy).

During her stay in Spain, a TV producer invited her to take part in TV series Jelena. Her first supporting role of model Vanja was in the above-mentioned TV series Jelena. In the following 2007, she was chosen for the finals of FTV Diamond Model Awards Competition winning prestigious award FTV diamond holding the third position. She took part in the shooting for the FTV collection promotional material and for the jewellery on FTV Diamond yacht.

She took part in the FTV documentary taken during Asian world tour on different locations including Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Chinese island Sanya and European cities such as Monaco and London as well. Following the competition she attracted the attention of a fashion scout in London. Marija finished the School of Banking at a prestigious private college and also earned her Master’s Degree relating to PR Management.

In 2009 she did fashion shows for various international designers in London that were organized by FTV and London Fashion Week. She took part in a brief fashion video made at the Fashion Show. Several months later Marija moved to Milan, Italy. She was chosen to take part in the prestigious fashion show for the luxe line of Damiani jewellery and numerous other brands as well. Marija has a very successful career in the Monaco fashion scene, Monte Carlo. Marija is for sure one of the most successful Serbian models.
